Membership
Membership of the LTOCA is open to anyone who is employed, or has been employed, by Transport for London or its subsidiary companies in a full time capacity. They must have served in Her Majesty’s Armed Forces and therefore have a Service Number.
Those who wish to join the LTOCA and take part in the Parade, and March to the Cenotaph on Remembrance Sunday must demonstrate to the Committee that they are Staff working for, or have worked for, either London Buses and Bus Operators or London Underground either directly supplying the service or supporting in a maintenance function. It is important that those wishing to join and take part in the March to the Cenotaph on Remembrance Sunday provide full details of the work they currently undertake or did undertake in their employment with Transport for London so that the Committee can make a considered decision.
Associate Membership is also open to those guests who have supported the Annual Dinner for a number of years, work or have worked for Transport for London or its subsidiary companies, and are recommended by an existing member.
LTOCA and Data Protection Act 2018
The LTOCA must, by law, have a member’s written consent to hold their personal data and that only current data can be held.
This means that anybody applying for membership to LTOCA must sign “a consent to hold personal information”
This information is used for distributing regular communications such as our Spring and Autumn Newsletters, also on occasions to share information concerning members’ activities.
This information is shared with TfL and the RBL for the formal invite to take part in the Annual Remembrance Parade and Attend the Remembrance Activities .
Membership Application
Your application will be discussed at the next committee meeting and when approved you will be contacted and will receive the next Mail Shot. This will be either the Spring Mail shot which will include a form for the annual lunch for those who Marched the previous Year, this should be used to pay your first Subscription by the 1st of May, or the Autumn Mail Shot which will contain a form for the Annual Dinner you should use this form to pay your first subscription by the 1st of November.
Only on receipt of your subscription you will be confirmed as a member, should you not respond then the association will assume that you have changed you mind. You can always apply again.

Attend the Remembrance Day Parade at the Cenotph of behalf of TfL.
Have the opportunity to Repersent the Association At Events such as the Field of Rememberance, City Hall, Lay the Wreath on behalf of TfL.
Attend the Annual Dinner and Marchers Lunch
